Charles Evans Wilcox,

an Ohio native born along Lake Erie impacted by grandparent farmers and the natural water environment was key in my early childhood. Their rich foundation of family, hard-work, honesty, and integrity played a foundational role in my early years. The transition to an early military reserve enlistment in the Ohio Army National Guard was a logical choice right out of high school, especially with the encouragement of my Marine Corps father.

College full-time at Ohio State and a part-time job at a local upscale health club in Columbus brought a life-long friendship together with Curt Wellington in 1980. During what spare time we had between classes and working, we would find our way enjoying boating and water skiing together with our friends.

Graduation with a business degree and marriage to my wife Carole immediately took us to the west coast of Florida starting my career in finance and mortgage banking. Time and tide with changes to course and speed honed my skills in process and project management, compliance, and military operational expertise in the Coast Guard Reserve. Having worked with multiple major U.S. banks and simultaneously commissioned as officer in the military has given me extraordinary insight into the civilian and military workforce developing collaborative and effective systems. Numerous professional roles focused on exceptional planning with key deliverables valued by my superiors.

It is with my experience and the same rigor in task accomplishment and understanding of performance requirements, that I wish to offer and expand our personal services with OEP Concierge. I look forward to meeting you and showing you how it is my honor and pleasure to serve.

Curtis John Wellington, born 1959 in Youngstown Ohio. Graduated Boardman High School in 1978 and went to college at The Ohio State University, graduating for the first time in 1982 and again in 2013. Has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Ashland University in 2015. Worked for Honeywell, Inc., in Columbus Ohio from 1985 until starting his own company in 1993. This company sold fire and security equipment and was acquired by Koorsen Fire and Security in 2009. Created a cleaning company in 2011, while attending school, and that iteration is still running under the helm of his oldest son. Created Concierge in 2021, pledging a service commitment to Southwest Florida. Supporting Concierge services Curt has earned his Vessel Inspector qualification with the USCG Auxiliary, and Charter Boat Captain’s License approved by the USCG.

While living in Ohio, Curt was active in the community of Hilliard Ohio, serving on their City Council, Rotary, Baseball and Basketball organizations as a head coach. He also co-founded a rock and roll band dedicated to raising money to fight cancer. He was and is an active runner and swimmer, completing the Columbus Marathon in 1998.

He is a proud Dad to Christopher (32) and Kevin (25) who both live in Columbus, Ohio. He is married to Linda Wellington, who he graduated high school with, and they reside in Bonita Bay (Bonita Springs) Florida.
